Transient Response Analysis (TRA)

ㆍBattery’s transient response can be obtained by applying current step function to a battery and measuring

voltage response as a function of time and at wide ranges of time scale.

ㆍTime-varying internal resistance can be obtained by subtraction of initial voltage from measured voltage

response and then by dividing constant current value.

ㆍMetadata Compiler automatically extract characteristic parameters from TRA data including internal

resistance components.

Frequency Response Analysis (FRA)

ㆍFrequency response analysis is a set of measurements of complex impedance which can be obtained by

applying sinusoidal current and measuring voltage response as a function of frequency.

ㆍComplex impedance can be plotted as real & imaginary part (Nyquist Plot), and the real part of impedance

indicates frequency-dependent internal resistance of battery.

ㆍMetadata Compiler automatically extract characteristic parameters from FRA data including internal

resistance components.

Sequence Builder for Programmerble User Sequence

ㆍSequence Builder is a software tool for user’s own battery test sequence programming.
